The victim takes 1 point of Wisdom drain from mental shock every round that it ends its turn in an amorphous shape the creature permanently becomes a chaos beast if this Wisdom drain equals or exceeds its actual Wisdom score.Ĭure corporeal instability can only be cured with magic (such as greater restoration, heal, remove curse, restoration, or heal). The party does not have access to remove curse or a strong enough healing spell, or alter self, beast shape, elemental body, polymorph, shapechange, or stoneskin, all of which would stave off the Wisdom damage until they could find a healer of some sort. Once he hits 0 Wisdom he will transform into another Chaos Beast. If he fails he'll become amorphous and take 1 Wisdom damage every round he remains in this amorphous shape. He needs to make a DC 15 Will save every minute to retain his shape. The Chaos Beast found in the Carrion Hill module does not have the same wording as the one found in the Bestiary. Unfortunately I don't see any way of him surviving the curse as it is described in the module. The Unchained Monk of the party has been afflicted by the Chaos Beast's curse. I'm currently GMing the Carrion Hill module and we recently ended the session with the PCs defeating Keeper Crove and his Chaos Beast. /r/3d6 - For character creation, advice and sharing (system agnostic)./r/Battlemaps - For your VTT battlemap requirements./r/Tabletop - For your general tabletop gaming shenanigans./r/lfg - Looking For Group, find other players, etc./r/RPG - For general, non-Pathfinder related RPG discussion./r/Starfinder_rpg - For dedicated discussion of Paizo's Science Fantasy system and setting./r/Pathfinder_Kingmaker - To discuss the Owlcat-made computer RPGs.
